If you’ve ever considered starting a new business, you know how hard it can be to find useful information. I know. I’ve been there, and I’ve felt the frustration..
After years of planning and waiting for the right opportunity I was able to purchase a small restaurant and catering business called Simply Delicious in Hartville Ohio. Despite all I thought I knew about running a successful restaurant, the learning curve was steep, and there were many lessons that I learned as wi went through the process.
As I started working through the process of putting together my business plan I was dismayed to see how little useful information there was available. Oh, there are a lot of books you can buy, but there wasn’t anything that you could get for free.
My goal is to put together as much as I can about planning, starting and operating a restaurant, or any other small business.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience in the food service industry, over 15 years in management, and an MBA, I’m sure there will be something you can use.
